We had an absolute blast at our second Boston Boulder Brawl (B3) on April 2, 2016!
The turn out was absolutely incredible and the energy was high all day long. Our route setters went all out to bring our climbers the best set for the competition. It was phenomenal to see the best boulder climbers in Boston show up and go head to head in our unique ‘Last Climber Standing’ competition format. We can’t wait for the next one!
We’ve been hard at work editing all the footage to show you our competitors taking down these amazing problems set by our Director of Wall Design & Head Route Setter, Mike Dominguez “MIG” and his incredible setting team. Check out all our pros crushing along with our junior, recreational and advanced divisions as media is released.
There were two problems in particular that gave our competitors a challenge. All of our female competitors were stopped at problem 2 except for Lucy Humphreys and Anna Farrell-Sherman who took first and second place respectively. Our top male competitors were all taken down by problem 4 so to break the tie, we sent them through to problems 5 and 6. Problem 5 didn’t give them too much trouble after the initial dyno, but no one was able to complete problem 6. If you you’ve been able to send it, send us the video!
We’re so proud of all of our competitors and hope to see everyone return for the next B3 with some new competitors to raise the stakes!

Welcome to Rock Spot Climbing - Peace Dale!
Located at 1174 Kingstown Rd, our Peace Dale location opened its doors in February of 2013.
With 40 ft walls and 2 floors of climbing, our Peace Dale facility currently has the tallest walls of any Rock Spot Climbing location!
Come visit our facility for a day of climbing. No experience is necessary and unless you are booking a climbing technique lesson, anyone can simply walk in. We’re open every day from 10am until midnight and our friendly staff will show you around and teach you everything you need to know to enjoy our facility. Our full retail shop is a great place to try on equipment, but feel free to rent the gear you need for the day. Finally, we have great membership options and any day pass can be upgraded to a membership.
Please ask about our corporate membership options. We have excellent after school and weekend youth programs, camps and a professional youth climbing team. Finally, we also hold events like birthdays, team-building retreats, overnights and more!
