Sharma 8c+

Here’s a great little video of Joe Kinder and Chris Sharma, two huge inspirations to me as well as two really good friends, climbing another stunner in Cat. No real story line. No mega-deep plot. Just straight pumped-up climbing porn, captured by none other than the legendary Jorge Visser.

“Three weeks, no climbing. Sharma just bangs out fucking resistance 8c+,” says Joe. “Third try.”

Chris Sharma pumped

Enjoy! Also, be sure to subscribe to Sharma’s YouTube Channel. Have a great weekend!

The folks at Louder Than 11 put together a stellar highlight reel of the final round of the Dark Horse Series Season 6 Championships.  The packed crowd was entertained by the likes of the pros Alex Puccio, Michael O’Rourke, Ashima Shirashi, Rob D’Anastasio, Megan Martin, Delaney Miller….and, well, if you weren’t there you missed out on one of the best climbing comps on the east coast!

If you’re somehow unfamiliar with the Dark Horse Series Competitions, here’s the rundown of how they work.  Competitors from all corners of the U.S. come to compete in one or all of the 4 comp series that finalizes with an epic all out battle to be crowned the champion.  A competitor can get a “bye” into the Championship Finals if they win in one of the 3 previous Dark Horse Series comp that season.  The competitions are open to all levels of climbing abilities with $1,000 worth of raffle prizes and over $10,000 of cash and prizes to compete for each round!

Check out the highlight reel below, get psyched, and keep an eye out for the next Dark Horse Series competitions that will be starting up again this fall!

Be sure to also check out the live feed of ABS 16 National Championships from LT11.tv on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 starting at 6 pm CST!
